Managing Cancer in the Workplace - A Special Webinar

Timed to coincide with Macmillan Coffee Morning (the world’s biggest coffee morning) Friday 28th September 2018, Schools’ Personnel Service in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support will be hosting a special webinar event for schools on managing cancer in the workplace.

This is our second year of working with Macmillan and we are delighted to be able to continue our partnership and offer this event to our schools.

So join us Friday 28th September at 10:30am to hear from our friends at Macmillan and their Macmillan at Work team with advice and guidance on the following:

  • An introduction to Macmillan and the variety of services it offers for those affected by cancer.
  • A look at the impact of cancer on work and the issues faced in the workplace.
  • A review of the legal position and obligations towards employees living with cancer and carers, as well as what support is available to help you meet some of those obligations.
  • Advice about the different Macmillan resources that are available to help you to support employees affected by cancer.
  • Advice in talking about cancer, something people often find difficult to discuss.
