When Management is faced with a breach of discipline or conduct, a grievance allegation or claim of bullying or harassment, it is essential that a thorough investigation is carried out before any action is taken against an employee.

This full-day course is aimed at School Managers and Governors who may be required to undertake a formal Management Investigation under the respective procedures, e.g. Disciplinary and Fairness at Work.

The course will cover the role of the investigating officer and how to undertake a fair and thorough investigation, fearless in the knowledge it has been conducted in line with policy and procedure, and ultimately that the report is fit for purpose.
