Making sure you select the right person for the role in your school or academy is critical and many schools, in line with private sector organisations, now include an Assessment Centre as part of the selection process. An SPS Assessment Centre can be tailored to fit the position you are recruiting to; be as realistic as possible and built in to a one or two day selection process, held either at your school/academy or a suitable neutral location.
They are designed to put each candidate through a series of relevant exercises to give them the opportunity to demonstrate their talents, skills, knowledge, expertise and ideas. The outcome is to give you the chance to see each candidate in action and decide on the person whose portfolio of attributes best suits your needs.
